Not with a fizzle, but with a BANG.
January 1, 2013
As I type my first blog entry for the year, I invite all the roommates to ponder on the memories made in 2012. Look back and appreciate every cut and bruise because these will serve as battle scars to remind you how strong you were and that you will not allow any setback stop you from achieving greatness. Always aim high and DREAM BIG! Welcome the new year with an explosion!
2013 has just begun and I already feel awesome about it! We spent NYE with a burst of colorful fireworks as a symbol of letting go of the past and celebrating a color life that is to come!
There was so much we wanted to celebrate last night and we figured there was just one thing we really had to celebrate--LOVE. Spending time with our families who flew all the way to NYC would have to be one of the best parts of the new year, reuniting with our loved ones and sharing stories of the past, a realization that there are people who will love us no matter what.
After the clock struck 12, Blair, Paris & I joined our friends to light our new year sparklers and party into 2013. I think they would agree with me when I say that the relationships we made in 2012 were a great deal and there would be nothing more that we could ask for. The past year was a true test of friendships strengthened through time and experiences. We consider ourselves truly blessed.
As I reminisce and put these words to an end, I think about how much I appreciate my life and how 2012 has been pretty good to me. This year, 2013 will be ours! I claim success, happiness and fulfillment for Paris, Blair & I. And for you readers and roommates, I wish you all the best this year! May you fulfill your dreams and pave the way to your own happiness! Oh, but never forget to PRAY and GIVE THANKS, okay? Enjoy 2013 and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
